California – San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo

Sagrada Wellness Yoga Retreat

Mike and I participated in our first yoga retreat (with wine and chocolate tastings) at Sagrada Wellness, which is a picturesque 45 acre mountain paradise in San Luis Obispo wine country. The yoga retreat was soย much more than we expected. There were many thoughtful and beautiful little touches built into the schedule. Over the course of the weekend, we worked through the Chakras by setting intentions for each yoga, meditation, Qi gong, qoya, or hiking session. We also learned about the ancient mythological history of Ganesha, Quan Yin, Hanuman, and many others, learned about different enneagram personality types and love languages, and we even received a special gift of a rose quartz and amethyst crystal. Every meal was incredibly delicious, and all of the staff were so nice. We ended the weekend with a lovely despacho ceremony. We will always remember this beautiful weekend.
